Birthdays are special, and there is no more exceptional a place to celebrate a birthday than Sin City. Las Vegas boasts so many entertainment choices that you might end up planning to spend a birthday month here, instead! Whether for a day, a week, or longer, Sin City has got you covered with options ranging from casual to fine dining. Since many folks are acquainted with famous spots like the Linq or Senior Frog’s, we are going to look at three lesser-known event spaces. Each of these venues can handle parties of 50 or more and are available for private events.
Billing itself “a modern speakeasy,” the 1923 Bourbon Bar is all about gangsters and flappers. A 1920s-themed full-service bar, situated (under the escalators) in the Mandalay Bay, this is a fun place to go for good drinks and chat. Its interior décor stands note-perfect with dark wood and dim lights, and the staff dress as if they just walked out of The Great Gatsby. In the VIP room, celebrants can also smoke a hand-rolled stogie and drink vintage Prohibition-era drinks. For events, the Bar offers a special entertainment package in which you can choose from DJs, celebrity impersonators, burlesque acts, and more. Don’t forget the Mob Museum–the real deal–is just 15 minutes away.
The Strip can claim a growing respect from foodies world-wide, from Irish pub to Asian fusion, but locals know that a slew of unsung Italian eateries are scattered throughout the valley. Carmine’s Las Vegas has become a local institution. Located in the Forum Shops at Caesars, this family-style Southern Italian restaurant remains prominent for its generous portions of dishes ranging from meatballs to squid. Carmines’ looms large at 20,000 square feet and features four private dining rooms for special events (like birthdays). If you are throwing an intimate family party, this might be a good choice. Moreover, you can walk off that pasta afterwards, strolling through the fabulous Forum shops.
For somewhat more upscale affairs, the Eiffel Tower Restaurant features fine dining and great views of the Strip. Located—appropriately enough—in the Paris hotel, this French restaurant features a modern art deco interior with a particularly stunning view of the Bellagio Fountains. The Eiffel Tower is more luxurious than our first two venues, with a red carpet and velvet chairs guaranteeing a memorable dining and social event. Their special events department will work with you to create a memorable birthday for you or a loved one.
Truly, visitors are spoiled for choice when it comes to Las Vegas. All three venues listed here are not only talked about for their cuisine, each features an ambiance guaranteed to mark a birthday as a distinctive occasion. And remember–after dinner, the night will still be young!
