One of the Las Vegas Strip’s busiest pregame gathering places has a new name. The two-acre outdoor space outside T-Mobile Arena, long known as Toshiba Plaza, is now Paramount+ Plaza.
A new name for a familiar Las Vegas gathering place
T-Mobile Arena and Paramount+ announced a multi-year partnership that makes the streaming service the arena’s exclusive streaming partner. The agreement gives Paramount+ naming rights to the open-air plaza between T-Mobile Arena and New York-New York Hotel & Casino.
The plaza has been part of the arena experience since T-Mobile Arena opened in April 2016. It regularly hosts pregame parties, public celebrations, sponsor activations and fan events connected to Vegas Golden Knights games, UFC cards, concerts and other major arena dates.
What visitors can expect at Paramount+ Plaza
The name is changing, but the plaza’s role remains familiar. Fans can continue to use the space as a meeting point before and after events. The partnership is also expected to bring new Paramount+ programming, experiential activations and fan engagement tied to live sports and entertainment.
More than one million guests pass through the plaza during over 100 events in a typical year, making it one of the most visible outdoor entertainment spaces on the Strip.
Paramount+ Plaza makes its official debut
The newly named plaza will make its official debut during Garcia vs. Benn fight week. A public ceremonial weigh-in is scheduled for Friday, September 11, ahead of the Zuffa Boxing event at T-Mobile Arena on Saturday, September 12, 2026.
Garcia vs. Benn will also stream live on Paramount+ in most global markets at no additional cost to subscribers. Availability may vary by country.
Home of major Las Vegas sports and entertainment
T-Mobile Arena is home to the Vegas Golden Knights and the future Las Vegas home of the city’s professional women’s hockey team. It also serves as UFC’s exclusive Las Vegas arena destination and hosts major concerts, boxing events, award shows and special productions throughout the year.
Visitors planning an arena night should allow extra time for plaza programming, security screening and pedestrian traffic. Event-specific activations and opening times will vary.
