A new Strip landmark is taking shape

Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Las Vegas is transforming the former Mirage site around a guitar shaped hotel tower and a property wide resort redevelopment. The project will bring a new hotel, casino, dining, entertainment, meeting, pool, and nightlife experience to the center Strip.

Current construction status

Last reviewed August 2026. The guitar tower has become a visible part of the Strip skyline while exterior glass and interior work continue. Hard Rock’s official Las Vegas site currently describes the resort as coming soon and provides news, employment, and meeting inquiry registration.
