Las Vegas is back in the Michelin conversation. On August 26, 2026, the Michelin Guide presented its first American Southwest selections at Fontainebleau Las Vegas, returning to the city after a 17 year absence and recognizing four Las Vegas restaurants with stars.
The results reinforced something Las Vegas diners have understood for years: the city is not simply a collection of celebrity chef names. It is a serious dining destination capable of delivering tasting menus, technical precision, distinctive hospitality, and memorable experiences at the highest level.
The 2026 Michelin starred restaurants in Las Vegas
Joël Robuchon at MGM Grand: Two Michelin Stars
Joël Robuchon received the only two star distinction in Las Vegas and the only two star award presented in the inaugural Southwest guide. The formal MGM Grand restaurant is built around an extended tasting experience, intricate French technique, highly choreographed service, and one of the city’s most established luxury dining rooms.
General Manager Sean Christopher also received the 2026 Michelin Guide Southwest Service Award. Michelin highlighted the restaurant’s personalized hospitality and signature tableside traditions.
L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon at MGM Grand: One Michelin Star
Located beside its more formal sibling, L’Atelier earned one star for a counter driven interpretation of the Robuchon style. The open kitchen places guests closer to the preparation while preserving the technique and detail associated with the name.
Restaurant Guy Savoy at Caesars Palace: One Michelin Star
Restaurant Guy Savoy returned to the starred list with its refined French tasting experience at Caesars Palace. The restaurant combines precise cooking, premium ingredients, a calm dining room, and polished service designed for a long, occasion worthy meal.
é by José Andrés at The Cosmopolitan: One Michelin Star
é earned one star for its intimate chef counter experience hidden within Jaleo. With very limited seating and a progressive tasting menu, it is the smallest and most theatrical of the Las Vegas winners.
Las Vegas also earned three Bib Gourmand selections
Michelin awarded Bib Gourmand recognition to China Poblano at The Cosmopolitan, Esther’s Kitchen in the Arts District, and Yen Viet Kitchen. The distinction identifies restaurants delivering particularly good cooking and value.
Seventeen more Las Vegas restaurants joined the recommended guide
The wider selection includes Anima by EDO, Bouchon, COTE Las Vegas, Estiatorio Milos, Gymkhana, Kabuto, Kame Omakase, Lamaii, Michael Mina, Mott 32, Partage, Pho Ga Bac Bac, Ping Pang Pong, Soulbelly BBQ, Sparrow + Wolf, Stubborn Seed, and Wing Lei.
What the stars mean for a Las Vegas trip
A Michelin restaurant should shape the evening around it. Confirm the reservation before adding a show, nightclub, transportation, or another timed commitment. Tasting menus can last several hours, dress expectations differ, dietary accommodations may require advance notice, and cancellation terms can be strict.
For visitors who want a hosted introduction to several acclaimed restaurants, Lip Smacking Foodie Tours offers curated dining experiences. Visitors can also explore the Sin City VIP Las Vegas Restaurants Guide.
Awards and selections were verified through the Michelin Guide and the August 26, 2026 American Southwest ceremony. Restaurant status, menus, reservation policies, and hours may change.
